Handmade sterling silver and turquoise necklace, featuring multiple stones in various shades of classic turquoise blue. These stones are from Kingman Arizona, and have beautiful rich color, and markings and patterns that remind me cloud formations.
I built these pieces with rain and moody weather on my mind. Inspired by a the raindrop shaped pieces of turquoise, my life in the desert, growing up in Seattle and years spent living in tropical Hawaii. These places couldn't be more different, but what they have in common is dramatic rain. Even the desert manages to create moody drama when it actually does actually happen.
